I think your install is quite clean....yes it may need some tidying but that's it....what about the scans 4's photos
So, the updated equipment part of it.
now will be running (maybe)

Scan Speak 12m (4.5") revelators (midrange)
Rainbow CAL26 tweeters
Peerless sls 6.5" midbass (maybe)
Sub is staying the same, love it !

No pics yet as all is temporarily installed while I do the long *** aiming process with dum dum strip caulk.

I noticed you threaded it. How did you find that worked? Did you ever think of using a metal sleeve and epoxying it into place for your speaker mounting points? I've got small ones here that accept 8/32 machine thread screws that we use for when we mount stainless steel kitchen sinks. I thought of doing the same for a set of rings when the install was being done on my convertible, but being busy and a little lazy at the time I just machined them out of mdf.

Maybe I'll see what I have for scraps and machine one up. There maybe another project/toy car in the works.
Corian® was used for a few reasons:
-Doors aren't a dry environment, mdf is affected by weather conditions, Corian is not.
-I wanted a material that could be threaded but aluminum of that thickness would have cost too much.
-the Corian was relatively cheap, a local coutertop place takes their scraps and makes cutting boards out of them, so I did the whole car for under $25.
-Very dense
-the last and deciding factor was that not too many other people were using it.
-easily machinable
I did however consider aluminum with Helicoil type inserts.

I do want to hear this system again, once you have nailed down the aiming and once you have finalized the mid-bass aspect!

Very clean, solid looking install. Nice work. Like the Corian idea.
