Caution with covers like these however is that I think they affect sound dispersion (could just be in my head too?)
Absolutely they will - any time a tweeter or mid is inset into a baffle you will alter it's sound. Add a grille on top and it changes it more. My A-pillars sound way better when the actual A-pillar cover is off. lol, I ran the car for probably a year that way before putting them back on.

maybe its that the one piece of carpet you decided to help with has the fibers going the wrong direction and it creates an optical illusion, friggen putz!!...lol

You were there too. I asked, is it going the right way and you just shrgged your shoulders.

All kidding aside, this car is really well done. And not just because I helped a bit. There are soo many neat ideas and attention to detail. Is was a fun build.

Nice! Stealthy trunk, about as clean as I've seen. Have to give it a listen this year. Just about hit the floor laughing at the phone pole wire pic. Good work.

Bad picture angles, only about 10% blockage, no difference was heard or measured by separating them any more than this amount.

no one will be hearing this car, I won my trophies, sold the Hybrid stuff and everything is now in the for sale section, getting a new car, starting a new build.
