Pioneer GM-D7300M I think its called running at 2 ohms 400 Watts RMS

yeah I played a couple of songs for a minute or so each sounded good but had the volume pretty low waiting for the glue to dry will realy give it a work out in a couple hours.

One thing about it is I have abiot of extra speaker wire inside the box would that make it sound different if its in there flopping around?

Just because the glue has dried doesn't mean you can start wailing on the sub.....has it been broken in yet? The sub will last a lot longer if you take it easy for a few hours first......

It should sound much better in that new box, let us know how it works out....

I was once told that the fumes from the glue,silicone, ect. used to make a box has the possibility to cause the glue that holds the speaker together to come apart. For this reason I was told not to put the speakers in the box until the glue dries.
I have had no personal experience with this but it came from a reputable source so take it for what its worth.

It's actually more of an issue with silicone or resin but it can't hurt to wait until everything has dried completely.....

the sub is about a year old. it sounds good too.
