This box only cost about $30 - $35 to make to.

$19 for the MDF 48x48 I think
$5 for nails
$5 for glue
My friend gave me his terminal.

enclosure looks solid. only thing holding you back now is electrical and some real power. those diamond audios can sound amazing with the right power.

yeah I will do something to it maybe felt or something but I was wondering if I should go over the seams with something like glue or maybe a few screws in it to make it really solid first I'm in no hurry to make it look good.

well if you have glue on the edges there is really no need to reinforce with more screws. you know when wood glue gets hard the wood itself will break before the 2 halves come apart(where the glue is)! and felt on your box lol that seems a little ghetto lol but sure go for it lol!!

also i think more screws will weaken the box like if you have way to many screws you know. b/c the more screws = more holes which = less wood or something along those lines. but i am sure i am wrong on that and someone will no doubt correct me on this idea!

what about putting something over the nails and out side seams to make it better? I think a couple of the nail holes have no nails in them I was thinking glue or silicone or something.

o if you have empty holes for sure fill them up with some silicone or wood glue lol. and don't use nails use screws they hold better! and if you put some glue over the tops of the screws ppl have rumoured to gain about .1 db from it lol! but then again who knows!
