you guys to raise a good point no problem on the pics first chance other hand thats where i got it from
and you think a stock alternator would handle 3 amps i think not im a noobie but not that stupid

Ok.... well you obviously don't want to listen to any of us. So good luck with the build. Be sure to let us know what numbers you put up after you're on a meter.

With that statement, entering comps at this point would yield **** poor results at the ultimate best... you need to do a lot more reading, and research in general...

What kind of car do you plan to put this in???

So what am i doing wrong?? I Matted the car(BrownBread) I ran 0 Ga Wires.(Stinger Pro) Bigger Alternator and batterys and the box is professionally Built and tuned at 40hz

All you guys are saying is going to sound like crap. ok but only one gave advice the rest is BS

the car is a Honda Civic SI Coupe 2000

As little as I know about SPL, I'm sure the veterans will agree... SPL and setting records isn't as straight forward as you'd like it to be... it's a long process of trial and error, and what works in someones car might not yield the same results in your car with the same setup... there's more to it than that..

a 200 amp ALt, and 2 yellow tops aren't going to get you where you want to be, hell, I doubt you'd be able to do anythign special with a civic, without heavily modifying the structure of the car...

Im thinking the same thinking about the alternator but i have no clue if it can be done.

just cut the hood
fill the car up with foam and added d-mat

but i think you have a good start

ps i do not think you will hit what db in the 1st show with out some mike time
