It's not so much what you're doing wrong... but it's not "enough" to reach your goal.

You said you were going to reach 180db, but i'm not sure you realise how hard it is.

There is only 1 vehicle that has ever scored higher than that. The vehicle is a full-on extreme class truck with multiple alternators, something like 48 batteries, about the same number of amps, and like 16 subs. (I forget the exact specs). All of this is in a vehicle with reinforced body panels, plexi windshield and side windows, and hundreds (if not thousands) of hours in their box.

Also, this truck only plays the 180 for spl burps. For listening to actual music it certainly wouldn't be anywhere near that high.


You're on the right track to making a VERY loud daily driver, your goal is just a little unrealistic though.
