Which is my remote?????
I am trying to hook an amplifier off of a factory deck in a Pontiac Grand Am and i can not find the freaking remote wire and i am getting angry. All the wiring sites say it is a yellow one, but there are two yellow ones. One goes into the harness and the other goes with the ground i think to some unknown place. I am getting mad i need help.

Do you have a dmm or a test light so you can check which wire is the right one?

Take a look at the diagram. The second yellow wire your talking baout is actually a speaker wire. it should be clustered with the other speaker wires. The yellow one your looking for should be clustered with the constant power wire.
Hope this helps.

Also - just because the wire is in the harness do not immediately assume the factory deck has the output. If the car does not have a power antenna or factory amp then there is a good possibility that the factory deck does not have a remote turn on circuit inside it. some do, some don't.
