Need Help
Got a 2004 Dodge Ram pulled apart installing a sub and amp and a new deck. Power wire is ran, along with RCA's and remote on the opposite side of the vehicle. We have yet to mount the amp and hook up the wires. I plugged the deck into the wiring harness and turned the key on acc and thier was power but no sound. I plugged the original head unit into the factory harness and it wouldn't turn on. Now their is no power getting to the factory h/u or the aftermarket stereo. What is going on, fuse?

Checked the fuses, found one burnt out, it was replaced. The aftermarket deck is now getting power and functioning properly. The subwoofer works, but their is no sound coming out of any of the speakers. everything on the wiring harness looks like its connected properly. Any one got any ideas why the speakers wouldn't be wokring?

if the deck is powered up but is not putting any sound to the speakers id be checkin the high and low filters and if the h.u has an option to turn the internal amp off and just run the rca's. it is probly a filter and option internal which is off. question, does the amp and sub run and put out sound just no the speakers?

do you have the infinity system or bose whatever year is your truck lol. if it has the premium sound system your problem is that your sending sound to a stock amp that is not powered on. sooo you can bypass it by sending new wires to your speakers or well the other option is to buy an adapter for it
