need help with amps

so i blew my second kenwood kdc9104d today. i had it hooked up to two rockford p3 12's, the 4 ohm dvc's, wired to one ohm. the guy who installed it for me told me AFTER i blew the first one that my subs wired impedance jumps between 1 and .5 and my amp isnt .5 stable. i dont want to get new subs, i like my subs its just the amp thats a piece of . i can get another one under warranty, but i dont really see the point. can anyone recomend me some inexpensive .5 stable amps here in canada?

why not get an amp that produces your needed power at 2ohm. most amps running at 0.5ohm aren't going to be as reliable anyways.

plus, you will have a much bigger selection of nice amps if not limiting yourself to 0.5stable ones.

0.5 is too low for daily, this is why you burn the up. Buy a bigger amp to run at higher ohm if you are looking for more power.
