lol 0.5 amp daily driver?
my v900xd does 0.5 for insane 5 second burps that probably the the most i would ever want to drop it

plus we don't have the proper stable current to power an amp at 0.5 ohm all day

just make it easy on yourself and stop running the amp at such a low impedance. If you want "loud" then spend some money and do it right.

your amps will never last more then a month of thumping at 0.5 ohms
0.5 are for very short burst!

if your system went from 1 to 0.5 doesnt that mean 1 of the coil went bad?

wait a sec.
your running at 0.5
what kinda of power plant you giving it? i hope ur car is not on stock setup
you must be dropping below 11-10volts probably why it frying amps

but it doesnt stay at .5, it fluctuates between 1 and .5. it doesnt look or sound like one of them is fried though thats the thing

i may be wrong on this, but i was under the impression that no voice coils present a steady load when playing music. although a 4ohm will stay around 4ohm, it will still vary etc.

is this correct?

its not supposed to be at .5, it was never my intention to have it wired that way, its supposed to be at 1 ohm, which my amp can handle, but something ****s it up.
