Question

any 1 know which core is the neg inside the RCA cables? (the outter core or the inner)
because i recently install a dvd player and a LCD mon in my mom's 99 3.2TL and i belevie there's a lil'amp in the back of the car(please let me know if i'm wrong)but my deck has no pre amp(RCA cable only)i had put in a small 50x4 pioneer amp(size of a cassete tape) but i still dun't have the ctr speaker and the S/W (i didn't wire it)problems i have
-when the dvd player plays CD it's too loud even when i put the amp gain to nothing and the volume on the dvd plyer is 1(16 is max) and only 2 speakers have sound (fr 2 speaker)
-is it possible to wire the volume control on my steering wheel to the dvd player
-any1 will custom make me a face plate for my TL (i can pay over paypal or local pick up)
-rather or not there's a amp some where else in the car
-when i remove my OEM deck there are to plugs i think it's a 24pin and a 12pin i didn't bother to touch the 12pin but can some1 tell me wtf is that for?
-shall i remove the amp and turn all the RCA to speaker wires then rewire all the speakers?

thanks alot
