Ive decided to invest some money into a sound system in my vehicle, i'm currently running a 400/1 watt mtx amp and a 12inc phoenix gold sub but i'm ready to upgrade. I don't know to much about systems so I was wondering if someone could lead me in the right direction. I'm looking to get 4 new speakers and a new sub and amp and am not sure what components I need and if a amp is necessary for the speakers im on a budget of $1,500. I'm looking for good quality and a good amount of bass. I don't know which companies I should be looking at and what is a good setup for me. If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Listen to what u got available local. Is your 400w 2ch? Use that amp for front stage. Run 500-1000w to subs, a good pair of components for front stage, And some stock or upgraded speaks for rear(if u wanna do rear at all). Listen to what u like and plan accordingly.

 

I really dont know whats available locally other than bestbuy and futureshop haha, ya my 400 watt amp is a 2 channel i believe, sorry whats ce?

 

What are you close to? Maybe someone can suggest somewhere to start looking ie reputable shop

im thinking about a 12inc JLw6 w/1000.1 watt amp for around $1000 is that a good deal
