i've put bad

mainly for the choice of front/rear speakers and the MTX amp is not powerful enough, but for the infinity it's not an issue since they are "2ohms".

Now the question, do YOU like it?

hey haha,

the jh404 powers them just fine, but you are right the speakers are not the greatest, even a little harsh on the highs, but i got them for a really good deal from future shop (another story) but for what it is, and the car being a 98 civic, it sounds really good...funny how much sound deadening, good quality mp3's and proper tuning of an amp will do

yup a good install make all the difference!

Personally, i prefer my sound in front of me, i would ditch the back speakers, bridge the MTX and get a good set of component for the doors. Maybe it's not too late to return them at FS.

The Refs are alright. If they're bright, attenuate the tweeter.

If you are free this Friday night look for the thread about the SPL meet and greet in Brampton and come on out and introduce yourself. There will be quite a few guys that can actually listen to it before deciding if it's good or not. Also most guys will let you listen to theirs so you can compare and decide what you like. Should be a blast so try to make it out Friday. I'll be in the burgundy LHS.
