I plan to wire this amp @ 2 ohms, depending on my sub. Right now I plan to use the Sundown Audio SA12

The SA12's will be severly underpowered @ 2ohms and will not be loud. I have experience with SA's and they start to get loud at 800watts rms. If you are set on running 2 ohms a pair of SSA Dcons will be a better fit and they love smaller boxes.

I also think you should ditch getting the Belva amp and get a Audiopipe APSM1500, they are cheaper and alot of people have had great results including myself. New Audiopipe Apsm 1500 1500 Watt Mono Car Audio Mini Amplifier Amp APSM1500 784644415849 | eBay

The power depends on what subs I choose. I have narrowed my choices down to Sundown SA12's as my first choice. I have also been considering Alpine Type R 12's. I have been looking at an Audiopipe APSM1500 amp wired with 0 or 4 gauge. The box will be custom and I have calculated my air space. I may have to use seat risers.

kenwood excelon x497 head unit has 4 volt outs and is a decent $100 head unit (imo), i own a single type r 12'' in one of my cars fully powered and it pounds hard, they do make shallow mount versions if thats whats needed, 2 of these will definately put out some bass, im sure sundowns are great also, just never owned any. as for an amp if money isnt a big concern than alpine, if money is a concern i owned a hifonics amp which is cheap and i didnt have any problems with it, as others have said definately get some aftermarket speakers amp'd if you can, are you set on 12's? have you tried/heard 10's, its all preference i guess, ive always used the general music guideline: rap=12's rock=high power 8's or 10's, rap+rock=10's. but if loudness is what your concerned about you cant go wrong with 2 12s.
