NEW TEST LIGHT
hey guys has anyone purchased one one these test lights from this company before ,im really thinking about buying one,but i want to know if anyone here has purchase one or has one and can tell me if they are worth it,the site is www.arizonalabs.com ,any replies will do,thanks. web page
i have a dmm ,but i half to strip the wire to test and keep looking down at the dmm and find places to hook the ground up for the dmm, this testlight has a audio confirmation a bi color led light and it tests wire with out stripping it, it has a cig adapter with led,i need something for mass installation, and it will not set the airbags off,i paid $350 for this dmm brother,so this test light doesnt seem that expensive,i have paid the matco man for a basic testlight wit just a bulb in for like $30 and i thought that was rape, lol, but anyway i am looking for mass installation and a mdd is good but just seems to get in my way and i half to keep looking down at it,but thanks you guys.

Well I do alot of install's, I can't give you exact figures but say each car average $70 in installs I would do almost 1500 cars a year. That's quite a few and I can tell you I use a DMM. It's not hard to find a ground, and if you want to plug it into a lighter just build an end that plugs in, not hard to do on the negative lead. I sharpen my tips on the probe all the time and have no problem with testing without stripping.
Haha, used probes, tips and stripping allin one sentence.

That's a nice looking test light. A couple of guys I know use the BluePoint tester that connects to the battery and has 12v/gnd feed as well.
Now a REAL nice find would be a 'test light' with a DMM display. Every one I've seen that attempt that combo suck.

yeah dont get me wrong i like a good dmm but i hardly use it,i only use it to test speakers or passlock wires, a good nonbackfeeding testlight is good for quick installs or trouble shooting, matco truck got a testlight kinda like this one but for more money, its called the SST,thankyou guys for your input.
ooo man check this out,i called them and was asking a few questions about their testlight before i ordered one, and i ask them about if they was ever going to come out wit a rest light wit a volt meter and they said they already got beta ones out, they gave me this link http://www.arizonalabs.com/wirehawk_ultimate.htm
and said it will be out in about 2 to 3 weeks, for about $80,i said dam,im gonna wait, they said they have been trying to find good volt screen disply for them and they are still testing the duribility of this model.
