Newb beginning to think less is more when it comes to subwoofers. Any logic to this?

600 Watts RMS from a single RF sub was more than enough for my Acura TSX

I think I'm just gonna buy this:

http://www.crutchfield.ca/JL_Audio_H...p/136112r7.htm
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_e...hp?prod_id=294

A high quality 12" JL Audio sub with a JL Audio high output ported box, I'm sure this is going to be a great mix between sound quality and bass. Yes, it's brutally expensive and other cheaper subs will probably be way louder, but I doubt they sound as nice

The downside is that I can't find it for cheaper than $1100 Canadian! I don't mind paying it though, it's something that I'll be able to move to any other car purchase down the road so its a good investment I think

Anyone know where to get this JL Audio HO112R-W7 unit for under $1099? I'd love to hear about it

Cheers
