Question Newbie with compatability questions

Hi everyone

I need you help with the following.

Is the Alpine MRP-M450 (220 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms OR 400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms) enough to power the 10" Type R sub?

If it is, should I get the 2ohm or 4ohm version? what are the differences?

I'm currently using an Alpine CDA-9831 with 6.5" Type R seperates up front and Type-S 6x9's in the back, powered by a 4 channel Alpine MRV-F545.

I drive a 1998 Honda Civic DX HB with a small 70-75 Amp Alternator....Will I kill my alternator with this equipment?, or will doing the Big 3 be enough to help power the system.

Thanks for your help...any suggestions would be helpful.
