Hi i saw this site in the link sections from realmofexcursion.com and i just had to join up, finally a canadian site!

So yeah im here to ask a few questions since im fairly new to the car audio scene.

Alright so i have a 1999 bmw 323i (e46 body style) and i wanna put in two 10" subs, i was offered to choose between Ma Audio or Clarion, i dont know which one to take, i dont know which one has better build, quality etc.

So my budget is 500 Canadian, i dont want anything too powerful as i dont want to change my alternator ( i dont even know where it is) im looking for 2 10"s under 400 rms each, im open to advice and recommendations on other brands . I mostly listen to rap, but i also listen to dance music!

Also if any one knows a good place to get my audio system set up in montreal or Quebec that would me appreciated!!

Out of those subs mentioned i would take the MA, but their are better brands out their for the price. Take a look at maxxsonics, alpine, pioneer. Would you be needing an amp? You can also check out the 4 sale section here, always good deals there.

 

MA subs are pretty good, but you could try some MTX subs (TC510, 300 watts rms each). You can get a box with 2 subs for about 350$ brand new, and you can get some sick bass out of them.

 

I wouldnt touch any mtx other then the 9500 series, and even those, im sketchy about. You can get any of the above brands 2-10s or 12s in a box for 300 and under.
