Dude.. try another source like a diskman or something..
If it goes away then you found your problem...
If its only one output on your HU, then simply switching the RCAs should have moved the noise to the other channel... though..
From what you've said I still think its the amp.. but Iam not there to see for myself... so... [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

If it was the amp,wouldnt the noise be there when I unplugged the the RCA's from the amp?It went away when I did that...

If noise is still gone when you put in a mutting plug then its not the amp (a muting plug is an RCA end with +ve and -ve put together)
But OK, if the noise moved like you say you should try a different source....

LMAO.. ya, its kind of hard to trouble shoot when someone gives you conflicting information...

I'm not convinced the problem is the amp, nor I am I convinced the problem is the deck. I think the problem is you

Seriously though, it would probably benefit you greatly to forget all the stuff you think you tried with your system and go back to your car with a fresh start.
Take a pad and paper in with you document what you do and the result. That way you don't second guess what you think you remember, and we can help you out.
Right now, since you've flip-flopped, I personally won't take any of your comments to be too accurate until you've redone your diagnostics. I say this because we've all been there when there is a nagging problem we can't figure out and we've tried so many different things that all of the outcomes startrunningtogetherandgettingconfused.

Anyway..Lets start from scratch here...
The other day all I did was unplug the RCA's from the amp.When I did that there was still a slight odd sound coming from the subs(I run my main RCA's into two sets of splitters).When I switched the inputs for the fronts,the sound switched sides.
I think my next step(when it warms up enough outside to do so)is to eliminate the splitters and run the RCA's straight to the front amp only alone.
Your thoughts?

What next? This isn't really installed in a car but your home?
