I think Alpine is already covered here.. Eclipse sounds really good, so does MTX, and JL would be the bomb....

boooo for kicker... we don't want any of that or any audiobahn here, thanks...

Eclipse, Pioneer, Alpine, kicker, Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, Focal and maybe add some good brands that are less mainstream.

Phoenix Gold and Rockford Fosgate have good wiring.

speakers
lighting
batteries
alternators
alarm/remote start
Tint film

I'm looking for brands that YOU would buy. Canadian based is good too.

Thanks,

Wire = the cheapest you can get cause it makes no differance and cheap is what people want aka Audiopipe
Decks = People like flashy decks, Alpine and Pioneer
Subs = Mainstream since you already have RE...Rockford, JL, Kicker
Amps = Rockford, JL, Kicker since you would have the subs, alpine, pioneer
Speakers = same
Batteries = don't bother people will not buy tons of these from you they will buy Optima from Costco and hawker batts are good but you will have them collecting dust forever
Alternators = don't bother they need to be custom made
as for tint, lighting and alarms, again get whatever you can that will allow you to advertise a price lower than your competitors

Brand like Lanzar and Power Akoustic will kill your shop...you need to have mainstream products and stuff that the public thinks is good. noone wants crap and although lanzar does make some good stuff there line isn't very robust I think you need to carry a few brands that are popular and have a wide selection...the more stuff you carry the worse it is for you when product becomes obsolete and new models come out. In any case though I would not recomend starting a stereo shop unless you have enough capital that you can get into home theater OR enough friends with money that will buy stuff and get you through the first couple months

I think the name is pretty cool, although it may be a bit imposing on those who take things too literally. Just don't pair it with a slogan like "Blackmarket Audio Video - Specializing in Home Theatre, Car Audio, and Stolen Kidneys"

How much $$$ you putting into this damn bussiness

I give you 6 months before you go bankrupt, your going to carry almost 10-13 brands by the sound of it at one time and expect them all to sell good.Thats the biggest NO,NO stick to like 3-4 brands. You have to remember you have to pay up front as you probly don't have credit yet with any of these companys ye.

Alpine wants like 10G's to carry there stuff

All im going to say is good luck

But i guess i've have some competion now

Morel has an awesome speaker range high to low.

Something like:

Alpine - speakers/subs/amps/headunits - good variety
DD - subs/amps for spl
Morel - speakers/sq subs - nice for people who know what's up
Nak - headunits - nice purist option

Wire, who cares? Anything decent.
