I had them for 4 wonderful yrs won alot of events with them.

Thoughts in what regards? What is the intended results?
Power handling is 400rms and is designed for a 1.5-2.0 sealed enclosure.
Good daily sub with decent SQ but you won't take any SPL comps with it.
Unless I got a really good deal on it I would go with an IDQ over it for a sub that beats it in SQ, SPL, and works in a small enclosure.

I apparently have a line on a whole bunch of old SS ****...

But the subs will be left where they sit due to the whole blowing up issue

Hmmm, my guy who won contests didn't blow one of them. Hit a 149.9 on the SA3055 back when A&B was doing events.

I did SPL with them for the 4 yrs and ran them every day until like i said the suround went and a little duct tape and it was game on at least for that event i ran a PPI A1200 on them sealed then vented for the last year i had them and put up a best of 154.1 with the vented spec box.
