moreover, let's not forget that Alma's truck had high and mids in it....could use those proccessors for mids and highs, no? also tell me 5 features of any signla processor u would use if u are burping an extreme vehicle at 1 note?? let me start u off....low pass filter, subsonic filter and crossover (all of which can be found on the amp now days)...line voltage (we got line drivers for that now)...

DWVW yes u are correct, they have/had full range speakers and amps in that thing. that is wha they were processing maybe?

There you go, now that's a good answer, now wouldn't you want to boost your note? Couldn't an EQ be used for that?
|
Tinted.........always having the brain fart........... You speak and screw up.....people will be there to prove it to you every time.............. Stop and think about things and you might have a better time at things............. |
DWVW I see exactly what u are saying but u never use an eq to boost your note in spl, thats why no one uses them. u try to have as much control over your note and db as possible which is accomplished by having flat settings and just using the volume knob. perhaps some time ago they did use those things to boost the note or whatever, i dont know, but not anymore. for example, if u use a 4 volt deck and your amps peak at 2.4v of input and if u try to boost your signal by an external processor then u cant even turn your stuff up with the volume knob. i hope u see what im saying.

No, those decks controlled processors that had all those features................
isnt the symmetry a 2 peice unit that controls a processor as well.....or something rather similar? |
