And please don't tell me that clipping is going to blow a speaker that plays for less than 30 seconds

i see where u going with it. alot of ppl think that as well. but the more u boost your note with something extra the more distrotion u get, the more distrotion u get the less control u have over the sub performance and amplifier output. I did this test in my car a few times just to be sure myself b/c i had thought the same thing as u. and matching signal level is very important in spl, that is one of the basics to have all your amps perfectly level matched, especially if u are running a crazy amount of power from a number of amps to one woofer.

Dude are you totally Screwed in the head???

"isnt the symetry???" Dont you own one? you said you did!

Hello, The Rdat controls the processor and is used for programing.

Second off, Alma gates had phase modules made by PPI in her first generation bronco, and those my friend are not line drivers

And SPL is a changing practice never mastered just improved with time and work. So when you have been around long enough, try to understand. So for now just sit back and listen.

I know you want to match multiple amps output voltage, that's a given. But really how many SPL cars have any control over the cone?

Father Yuli 03-16-2004 11:04 PM

complete control probalby no one, u right. but u dont want to have less control by adding distrotion into the picture.

George apologizes for being away for the last 2 pages. George thinks that Tinted once again is saying things that he does not know or understand and then he figures out that he is wrong and changes around what he said.

George says that Tinted has been proven wrong over and over it would appear and he still doesn't get it. George thinks that Tinted has been smelling to much silicone building those SPL boxes.

George weeps for the future of Car Audio if Tinted is our future.

Alma had high range speakers in the Beast? It didn't when it was PPI and it doesn't now (according to the web page on it anyway) so when was that?
