Optima Yellow top - Big 3 question

on my car i am using the top posts for all my connections but i would need new terminals to add wires for the big 3. could i add in the side posts too?!? would it all work okay by having both top and side posts?

Yes it would work very well.

Put the car's cables to one set and your stereo to the other. Preferrably the stereo to the top, and the car to the side. There is more resistance out the side terminals of an Optima than there is out the top.

Whichever one is directly above one of the round cells, will have lower resistance than the ones that haev an internal extension... So if the studs are dead centre above the cell, they're lower resistance. And if the auto posts are the ones that are dead centre, they'll have the lowest resistance.

The side post'ers found on 34/78 DT and 35/75 DT Optimas have quite long internal extentions, over two inches each.
