OT: sailboat stereo
OT: sailboat stereo
well in december my brother needed a more money to get a sailboat.. i ended up being that money even though i dont sail.. [now i might not be able to buy a corvette in the spring
]
anyways, it needs a stereo.. i'll be adding more battery capacity as it only has a 35a alternator on the diesel
what should i do for a sub to get the most kick with least power? a 15" in a ported box?
and, any suggestions on marine 6x9's?

I'd put some of your coin into a bigger alternator first if I was you.....I guess it depends how much listening time you need with the engine off.
Clarion makes the best sounding marine speakers I've heard.....they make everything from coaxes to subs with water-resistant materials.
