Overheating Question.

OK. I have my amp mounted onto the back of my box in the trunk. the back of the box is facing towards the cabin of the car, and there is maybe 1/2 foot of room between the box and small seat opening.

Do you think I will have any overheating issues? if so, would a couple of 3" computer fans work as adequate cooling for the tight space?

PS: my amp is a Sundown SAE-1000D

What class of amp is it? A/B? D?
Should be fine. Do not run the fans off of the remote wire. Use a transistor.

It is a class D. I was just worried, because the space it is is pretty tight and there is very little ventilation. Also is it better to mount upright or bolt it to the bottom of trunk?
