What you pay and what something is worth can be quite different sometimes, nice deal on the subs. (MSRP is $299/each).
I personally think the whole 'break-in' thing is overrated. If the sub is of any quality, it shouldn't be a big issue. I usually give mine an hour with settings that are gonna give them ~30-50% of their excursion, then as worldind so perfectly put it, they get 'wanged'.

Audio shop in Orleans, eh? ... can you let me know which one? I live out in Orleans so I'm curious about who you went to see.
If you don't mind the drive go and visit the guys at the FS in South Keys... Shon, Ravi, or Joe ... they'll get you set up properly.
Even though they're a FS, they're the only people in the city I would let touch my own car. (except for Wayne at the FS in Kanata, but that's a bit too far to drive just to get some gains set up!)

i had a memphis 1500D Well over 1500rms into 2 ohms hooked up to the same subs in a sealed box! they handled it like a champ.. just carefully setup your gain, make sure you're not pushing distortion through the subs, and you'll be really happy!
I just bought some more of the kappa perfect 10 inchs!!! waiting to find me a nice amp like yours!!! its so hard to find great amps at nice prices!

JordyO, its FinalLap off st-joseph (cosineau street behind the mc donalds and caisse pop). I was happy whit install tho did the whole thing amp subs, cap deck for 80+ tax
and i will try to make the trip to FS, will they set up my gain ect free of charge? if i let them know you told me to go there:P
anyways happy whit subs right know...been a week but found a local deal that is hard to past on... dunno if its worth it..

very good condition dual voice coil 1100 watts rms
asking 425$ for it obo
could prob get them for 350 for the pair, dont know how long he has used them... talk to his girlfriend on the phone he is out of town right know... but she thinks there lest then 2 years prob not even 1... wait a week till he comes back...just want to know your output on this...would my amp be able to power these 2 bad boyz? and will i see a big diffrence in quality from 2 10inch kappa perfect to 2 of these?

Well you're going from two 10's to two 12's so you may hear some difference in output but your Perfect's are a very good sounding driver so I would recommend staying with them. Output should already be pretty darn good with the two and your nice sized amp.

yeah you are right they are plenty loud ... i really do not need more then that... but was wondering for the price is it worth it ...cuz i could prob manage to sell my 2 infinity subs + box for atleast 350 (the asking price of the 2 12" audiobahn) cuz they havent seen a week yet... therefore i would only have to put in a bit of money to build a costum box!...still think i am good whit what i have?

Well I can't promise that the guys at FS will set your gains for free (their time is worth something too) .. if you tell them I sent you I'm sure they'll take care of you... also check my PM about getting together.. .maybe we can work something out then
