Peel and Patch - Home Depot

Ok,, so almost everyone has had experience with sound deadners.

I have too... I mostly have Brown Bread in my truck.

But,, many have reverted to roofing materials,, moreover the product

from Home Depot and such places by the name Peel and Patch...

I CAN"T FIND IT.

Has anyone bought this, is has the foil back, just like brown bread.

I know the product is ashfalt based. I am needing some to finish up the

interior, and buying the real stuff is not right now.

So, if you've bought the Peel and patch stuff, or something similar let me

know,,, and you'll go to bed feeling a little easier about yourself tonight.!

I don't think its called peel and patch..

I bought my stuff in the u.s. at lowes, its called PEel N Seal. Its excellent, doesn't smell like ashphalt, it sticks very well if you prepare the metal right (degrease . etc. ) only 13 $

Anyways, I looked at home depot, it all depends on what they have at your local THD.... but just look @ the home depo, tell them you need gutter repair , and they'll help you find something, Mine only had this crappy for like 50 bones.. anyways,

So I called Home Depot and they don't have the stuff.

I looked on google and found that they make Peal and Seel in the states.

It has an ashfalt undercoating with an aluminum topcoat.

I'd like to get this stuff, cause I have brown bread now and it'll match, not

that you'll ever see it but.. you know.

And, yes it sound deadens, and stops vibrations. Also,, it'll make your interior %100 water proof.

Also, you can stick it anywhere you don't want water to get at.

A guy on another forum put 3 layers on his back wall of his truck and it's dead, thud when you hit the panel,, and way cheaper that car stuff.

the only problem is, it's %100 ashfalt based,, so highly flammable for auto use

I think,, but if you're vehicle starts on fire,, let her go,, you got insurance,, right?

so is the cheap dynamat stuff, hope you have insurance for that too. Sure dynamat has more engineering put into it.. But they sell for way too much .. a 199$ trunk kit, no thanks.

They oviously don't have it at home depot, cuz they don't know how to look stuff up on computers man.. your best bet is to drive over and take a look yourself.. seriously.. I had to , and then when I did find it, It was too big a quantity at once for me.
