Is that Redzone stuff from Rona foil backed or not? By the way I was in home depot and found the kwikwrap stuff for $16.88 for a 9" x 36' roll. Not bad in my opinion, for only $0.63 sq. ft.

PS: Found a great thread on this topic. Long winded read but great info!

I have seen the RedZone stuff at Rona and it seemed to be a good price but i stuck with my Bquite because it came with a roller , and i dont want red stop signs all over my trunk when i drive around with my pannels off cause i literally only have about an hour every day to work on my car. for me its been 3 days already and i havent got half my trunk done cause it was spring break and i wanted to relax LOL

I have also found a sprayable elastomeric compound used for roofing.. although, I forgot where I saw it.

But, it hardens to the consistancy of the black stuff on the redzone.

so, you could spray it into corners, cracks and spaces....

I'll try to find it again.

I've been using redZone for about 2 years. It has been peeling back a LITTLE bit (two winters passed), but I did absolutely no prep work and a put it on with my hands.

The smell went away after a day.

The backing isn't foil, it's a red rubbery textile kind of stuff, doesn't look great, but I didn't put it anywhere visible, so who cares.

It's about half the thickness of dynamat/others, but it's also about 1/10th the price
