pioneer deck repairs??
pioneer deck repairs??
So i sold my pioneer avic N3 to a very close friend of mine and the dumba$$ left the key in ignition on ACC when he reinstalled his battery, friends all his door lock and window sensors xD but the bigger problem(as the first has been sorted out) is the N3 no longer works. It powers up and plays the radio but when i put the original nav disk, it updates and then says please install correct disk. when i put in the copied disc from ebay, it says installing and goes back to the same screen saying please install the correct disk. Does anyone have any idea on what this could be or what may have fried? i believe that the hard drive on it needs to be reflashed but im not sure, does anyone here do repairs on the indash? or have any knowledge about it? i would prefer local, depending on the price i may just tell him buy a new one. I wil not be held liable for his stupidity lol when i installed it, it worked fine
hey hows the SQ build coming? i spoke to chris alerady he isnt sure because he doesnt have specific knowledge of that deck and recommends sending it to pioneer who says i have to ship it to them even though there like 10minz away from my house xD
It's going very well; I’m pretty much finished I have two custom panels left that i need to get professionally stitched with vinyl then wrapped. Other than that I’m just spending my weekends tuning right now trying to get it to sound the way I want.
How’s yours coming along?
I saw from your threads on DIYMA your running into turn off problems I'll replied to them as well.
