Well. Things have changed and I'm going to be attending University Here locally for fall 2005 for Mechanical Engineering here @ University of Waterloo.

I didn't plan on getting accpeted and was going to sell my current system which is below. But I got accepted and now parents forcing me to stay here and BUYING ME A CAR!!!!!!! Bribery i tell you.

Head Unit: ALPINE 9831 4 Volt SUB/FRONT/REAR preouts
Front Stage : Infinity Kappa Perfects 6.1 CS
Amp for Fronts : Phoenix Gold Titanium ZX400.2
SUb: JL AUDIO 12W3v2 in 1.75 ft ^ 3 ported box.
Amp: Phoenix Gold Tantrum T500.2 @ 500 WRMS briged at 4 ohms.
NO rears as they were removed to allow for bass to flow in cabin. The only down side to the components is the previous installer mouted them near the side view mirros and left teh crossover flat and didint set it to -3db like i asked him too, hence my tweeters are really bright.

I have not got a car yet but i know for sure i will be soon by next month. MOst prob a 4dr civic, accord something like this.

Right now my system is pretty good for me, The sub pounds and my components keep up with it. But as you may know upgrading is always achievable in car audio its an addiction.

My goal: LOUDER and CLEANER BASS yes the 12w3v2 is pretty damn good and should be good for most but i have just saved a bunch of money by not attending university out of town and why not spend that on re doing system.

So can anyone help me out ? I was thinking of getting a JL AUDIO 12W7 as this thing is insane bu t its too $$$ from a auth dealer does anyone have any suggestions as i want to almost re do the sub portion of my current system which is installed in mine/my moms civic.

Budget is 1200CDN. Im not sure how much i could get from my current sub/amp combo maybe 400 - 450.

I would need a new amp and a sub. I would definetly consider having 2 12s but rather would stick to a single sub setup.

Ive always wanted a brahma but the person from who i was going to buy one is no longer dealing with adire.
I planned on getting a brahma a while back when they came back from new production in CHILE but no one has any not even the creativesound.ca adire dealer . I think it got delayed anyways i need some good reccomendations.
