Mr.American Bass,

Think flies and honey.

Many of the people you are complaining about are reading this thread. How you represent your business ideology in public, should reflect the respect you would give to these people in private.

As it was mentioned above, this forum is "lurked" by far more industry people than is publicly known.

They’re watching me, they know what I watch, they know what I listen to, and they know my every step. They could be your friend’s or even your neighbor. Every thing I do they can see me. There is no hiding. ahhhhhhhh run for the hill's they will never find us their!!!

yeah i know that was pointless, but i just had to do it. now all the manufacture's are going to think i'm simply crazy i tell you crazy, but yeah they are only in the race to make money, not lose it by going to a show with only 100 or so sectator's. money mean's business and business meen's more product's for your stereo's show car's and your every day driver's.

what u mean what support should they be providing the competitors???? what suport do motor oil companies provide for the Formula 1 teams? ........i cant believe u actually said that!!!!!

all these car audio companies supporting ricers is like Magnaflow supporting Db Drag, it just makes no sense. Oh yah there is a ton of spl guys with exhausts and muflers yet for some reason i dont see Magnaflow at any shows??

I dont think Nick was trying to make a good impression with this post so i dont even know why someone of mention about the industry people lurking on this forum?? the more of them read it the better!!!!

Lack of support for competitors or anything car audio related for that matter is the reason why MANY ppl buy over the internet and from the US.

This has to be one of the most messed up threads we've had here in a long time. (ok, maybe a week)

I swear some people here just post negativity for the sake of posting it.

Car audio manufacturers shouldn't support car audio shows? How the heck does that make sense? *WE* are the one's buying the gear.

These companies selling amps, speakers, and subs will have an easier time selling to people who actually know what the heck they're looking at rather than someone who knows nothing.

The people who attend our shows are the one's that actually care about product. Not everyone is there to compete. Some are there because they have an interest in audio and want to see the systems.

So why advertise to people who go to DN and want to see NOS tanks and lambo doors rather than people who are actually interested in audio?

You guys that are saying it doesn't make sense are probably also the one's who will say it doesn't make sense for a company like NOS to support an audio show because we don't buy any of their products.

I guess that's why I never see ads for hockey equipment at hockey games, or for gas/oil/plugs/tires at an auto race. Oh, wait... I DO... I guess those companies are dumb.

if you have a product market it. if you do a good job of marketing the show, you will get the support you need. I'm not having any problems with support for our show and shine in August. I am not however relying on an in dustry that is being pulled in 500 directions at once to throw thousands of dollars and countless hours every year at shows like these. think outside the box. get outside of the industry support for your show and make it good then the industry will come to you. my .02

you know guys....if everyone keeps whining and getting nasty because they feel that they aren't getting enough support from the reps and manufacturers. one day, they are going to say that unless you can gaurantee 20,000 people we can't help you. take the soother out and take care of yourselves. stop being childish.
