Power ratings question

Then get a 10 75 wrms on an 8 ..... might as well not have a sub at all get a dual 4 10" if you got the pg 201 i feel bad for you its a pos!

no, i did not buy it yet....i am just trying to figure out what my best option for a single 8" sub is.
i have not purchased the sub nor the amp yet.
all i know is that i can only fit an 8" sub in there.

If getting an 8 and all u can find is 4 ohm, pick up a 2 channel and bridge it, pretty much all 2 channel amps give full power at 4 ohm, forget class d, a two channel is what you need.

How about this?

Phoenix Gold Octane R2.5:5 to power the sub.
Its a 2 channel and puts out:
4 ohm bridged MAX = 250W
4 ohm bridged RMS = 150W
