Anyone in the Prince George area?

Heading up that way for a couple days to see family and get away from the smoke and fire.

Not sure if I did a post on my accident earlier or not, but I have been laid up since July 20. I was lawnmower wrestling and it got the better of me.

The damn lawnboy ate 4 toes off my right foot. So I have been crusing the net and building a few plastic models. Still waiting for my mmats 1400.5 to come in. Guess i should stop bymy cousins shop and see what the hell is up with that.

Since the fires to the South of me and over in Kamloops, we have had a house full of people staying with us, not to mention lots of different animals.

Been filling out medical papers for UI and insurence. Just hhoping it will be enough to buy a motor for the race car and possibly another Jugg15 and amp.

I got so much time on my hands, but no hard cash coming in. Lots todo around my place including a new lawnmower. Trashed the other one heh,heh.

AVU in Smithers? See if I have enough time Monday to swing by. Are you in sales or the install shop? And Who do I ask for?

We had planned on going to Terrace but ended up coming back after friends in Kelowna needed a place to stay cause of the fires.

we came back on Hiway 27 through Barriere McClure to Kamloops. I cant believe the devastation. Damn man, I delivered and setup alot of those homes. I damn near cried when I saw the mill was totally gone and old Ebenezers junk palace was flattened to nothing.

Old Eb was the nicest old man you could ever meet. Would do anything for anyone type of guy and now he is living in a tent with no address to recieve a cheque or any way to drive over to get one.

I know this will get a moderator on me butt about language but I know no other way to say it.

Once you have seen the destruction, you feel so f***ing guilty about your home surviving unscathed. I started to feel so damn useless driving through, worse than losing my toes.

WHat else can I say? I`m still speechless.

I am off to kelowna tomorrow to help return freinds to thier home. Thier home survived but alot around them did not.
