Quality of Digital Designs amps?
#42
the reps dont make the product and i agree mike is a great guy but the last 2 final straws happened when he was the rep.....the reps not the issue.....its just a crap product and the worst company i have ever dealt with ever......the woofers a good, the amps are crap and the company is an even larger crap pile.......i would sell a bassworx amp before i would sell a dd amp......dd should aspire to be as good as bassworx.....if they ever reached that level they would be 10 times better than they are now....but then would still have crappy service so they would still be awful
Seriously though, I knew you were unimpressed with the product and I also knew that you would most likely not carry it anymore. I could have just said "meh, fuggit, I'll just write him off" but I didn't. I took the old DOA amp (which Modz sold you then they dissapeared off the face of the earth), sent you a brand new one of equal value at my expense just to show you good faith. Repping a product can do a lot to eliminate hassles and stress because us reps deal with you on a personal level. I'm pretty happy with how I dealt with it but when you get that bad taste, there is not much you can do. As for DD's involvement? They are not great people people. They build wicked product and back it up. I apologize for their lack of international shipping procedure knowledge and back-asswards customer service skills.
Thats where I come in!
As for the product, I love it (of course...lol). The reason I love it is because I have a very low failure rate which is awesome and the product is kickass!
On another note, I love my mammoth S2 - it is a beautiful beast!

like i said....mike you were great and did the right thing....you inherit a product...you inherit the probelms that come with it......but a nice smiling face at the front(thats you) means nothing if the backend is still full of fat chicks in spandex(thats dd )
