I have an 8 month old brutus bx 1205d that has been excellent so far(knock on wood). I understand some of last years models had some problems with solder joints etc..., but this one has been great. I've been running it at 1.33 ohms since I recieved it. I purchased mine off of ebay also with no problems(just buy from a store that's been around for some time and ships to Canada regularly). I think they are a good deal for the money. I got mine for about $360.00 CDN including exchange(1.19), 15% pst/gst and canada post broker fee. That's pretty good for a 1 ohm stable, 1200 watt class D amp with remote bass control and a 1 year warranty. Get it, I don't think you can get a brand name amp of 1000 watts and 1 ohm stable for anything close to that over here.
