Looks like they are trying to copy the eclipse Ti basket. Looks like a wicked sub for sure, any idea on the pricing?

Ya it's sick. No price, or power ratings have been released as of yet. The sub isn't ready for sale either. It is SQ oriented and has 47mm XMax

45mm each way

Should be a VERY potent driver.

Hopefully this is reason enough for JL to develope a 15W7 and 18W7, not that I could ever afford one, lol.

^ I wouldnt expect JL to be worried about Re. Its competition is with companies with a little bit more market share than RE

looks like it will be very hard for that woofer to move 45mm each way considering that if it did te coil would be crushed against the backplate of the woofer...or maybe I am missing something. Also that basket isn't a copy of anything its been around for a LONG time and is used by quite a few companies...ground zero, shocker at one time, eclipse, and now RE (plus probobly some others)

Looks to be loud. I think it's kind of ugly though personally!
