If you are worried about your hearing and just like the feeling then go out and buy yourself a vibrator. Then just close your eyes and pretend your favourite song is playing.
I mean seriously, driving with the music that loud is not a smart idea. You're annoying any houses in the area and you wouldn't be able to hear any emergency vehicles. Not a smart choice.

. I bet just about every single person on this and every other car audio forum, at one time or another, has annoyed another human being with the loudness of his or her car stereo. But I agree that having one's stereo constantly at full power doesn't seem like a wise idea. Yet this still seems like an unlikely place to receive a lecture about "booming responsibly"...
I had a really good set at one point I bought from Gregg Dist. over on 11st SE.
They were around the -30 to -35 db range.Did a great job for db drag....
That was til some buttmunch swiped em out of my car at Nisku in 03....
I think they ran me about $35-40 then...check it out...

Hey guys, my friend was complaining last night about his ears ringing. He just drove back lik 7hrs straight through from Creston, BC in his Dodge Stealth. The exhaust is pretty boomy and loud. Even an hour in this car causes ringing for me. What would you recommend he does on longer trips to filter out the boomy frequencies inside the car.
