Reconing a sub.. need some advice.
I use a drill with a wire wheel and a utility knife to get the crap off the basket. It also helps "etch" the steel to hold it better.
Also not being familiar with the guys out east but what about Pefect tones? I'm sure they've reconed alot of subs.

Yeah... PT would be a good choice, but they're still a few hours away from me. (like 5 or 6)
besides.. I really would like to learn how to do this myself.

Remember to seal the magnet gap with masking tape to prevent anything going in there while you're working on it.
-Make sure the spyder is in the rest position and the coil is perfectly centered with shims when glueing .
