Anyone know of a place in Calgary where I can buy some good resin and glassing materials in Calgary?

I would think over 2% would be too much to. The max 3% sounds like good advice. Think about it: 10 mL per 1 liter (1000 mL) of resin is 1%. Anything above 10 Celsius and it should set up pretty quick. I once did 10% in -10 C weather. All it did was made it stink like catalyst and not cure any faster. Let it sit overnight though and it was fine.

And like others have said, resin from HD, CT, Rona (although the Rona stuff in the 1 gallon can is the same as the FiberTek stuff, which would be from CompositeOne also; locally anyway) and Bondo brand is CRAP mostly because places like CT or Walmart move resin very slowly. And there is no expiration date on the cans so you don't know how old it is. Best to get it from an actual fiberglass supplier. Amazing what a difference it can make.
