Hey! So my new cd deck has an AUX input on the back of the deck so I was wanting to wire up a retractable cable behind my dash so that only the 1/8" jack is sticking out. That way I can simply pull on the 1/8" jack and have the cable come out to use without the retractable part of the cable being exposed. Then when I am done with it I can have it retract back in.

I have found retractable cables but the only problem is you have to pull on both ends at the same time. I am after a retractable 1/8" stereo audio cable that can retract by only pulling on one of the ends.

Anyone know of anything like that??

If not I could always use the other kind and just mount the one end so it is stationary and when you pull on the cable it retracts however that would mean the bulky retractable part of the cable would have to be exposed and out in the open. I was hoping for the retractable part to be hidden behind my dash and only have the cable sticking out which is why I am after a retractable cable that only needs to be pulled from one end.

Here are the ones that you have to pull on both sides. eBay is full of them but I can't seem to find any that only require pulling on one end.
