Rockford Fosgate POWER T30001BD

Will this amp run @ 0.5 ohm daily with:

2 runs of positive in 1/0
4 runs of ground in 1/0 (to the frame)
Optima Yellow Top as starter batt
Batcap 2000 in the trunk
Stock alt (100A)

Has anybody ever run this amp @ a 0.5 ohm load?

Mike, I've heard of them running at impedances below what they're rated for, but the most I've ever done to a rockford was run a P3002 at 1 ohm. My gut tells me it will work at .5 if its rated 1 ohm stable, but I can't guarantee it.

good point on checking out the SMD forum. i shall do that

i've heard of people running them at .7 ohms and not having a problem, although they had much better electrical than i have stated.

only thing i figure is that after imp rise and all that other garbage, it should be alright.

I burp at .35 om my t3001, but i have to roll up the volume. I only have one run of + - of 0 gauge, stock 110 alt and two batts. Gonna try running it at .7 for daily, hopfully it will take it.
