in series??

okay,so....wire 2 type r (dual 2 ohm voice coil) in series to the pg a1600d, would this be my best option? or is this completely wrong lol..?

oh ok now that i read the thread.
wire the subs vc in series but parallel from the amp
so 4 ohms each sub then parallel down to 2 ohms total load

its the phoenix gold a1 600d amp,

600x1 watts rms @ 2 ohm

mono channel
