i have the same #'s on my deck and my amps (think in a line) if i have 1' to the car then it needs to go thew the car where the #'s can be not the same as the deck /amps then i get alt wine

^^^ have you tried it Dukk's way and got system noise because of it? or are you just saying you will. ?

in my suv there was a wine (system noise)
i tryed alot befor i went this way
the big 3
replaced parts like the alt (140 to a 220)
and time thinking what did i miss .then redoing thing one more time
now it is all good
but i'm redoing the set up for nexted yrs shows (new amps something new for the shows
the sub will not be where i had it last time the amps are moveing a lcd mite go in (for my son )you know kids need to see bugs bunny and friends at 140 db

 

from my experience, when you have system noise, upgrading to a bigger alt. only makes the problem worse, all other things being equal...

no i did not make it worse

 

My car is grounded properly....so the gound point at the back(to the body)is as good as at the front of the car....and I dabble into SQ myself.

 

The longer the wire....the more resistance= power loss.

 

that is why you go with a big wire

 

befor i did it this way
i redid the alt the rca's tried a dif deck tried dif amps
thing i did fined was one amp was bad and one rca was bad too
