Side mount batt.
i've got a side terminal battery and there is no top terminals. The bolt that bolts the positive wire on is not long enough to allow me to attach my 4 ga. amp power wire. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what I could do to fix it, or where to buy a part that'll fix it in the Edmonton area. I know streetwires sells a product that would work, but i can't find it at any of the major car audio shops in town. This is the product i'm looking for, or something similar http://www.streetwires.com/products/...Post_BTSML.cfm or http://www.streetwires.com/products/...Post_BTSTC.cfm Thanks a lot
Most auto parts stores sell a longer version of the side bolt or PG makes an adaptor that threads in to the battery and then has a threaded stud on the other end you put your wiring on and then a nut.Works great...I have one!!
Worse case...use a longer bolt!
