Simple amp Wiring question for most veterens.

Could i use a 2 channel amp and run each output to each coil on a dvc sub
provided i was using my sub output on my hu? should be getting the same signal through both rca's right?

i was just thinking about buying a 2 channel amp instead of a mono amp, so that down the road, i would have lots of power at 4ohms mono to run a 2 ohm dvc sub in series for best sq.

what is the verdict?
yeah or neah

What you are asking is indeed feasable and has infact been done before. The other option for you is to wire the voicecoils in series and make it a 8 ohm bridged load on the amp. This is exactly the same for power as running one coil on each channel.
