XM does work here, but it drops out a lot. Some roads with tall trees, or even roads in a valley will loose service for quite some time. A couple friends have Sirius, and based on their experience I would make the switch simply because it works better up here. </font>[/QUOTE]Until it is officially launched in Canada and then with XM you will have signal repeaters which will increase the reliability in metropolitain areas where buildings can be a problem.

The Satellite situation is XM's are Static (they don't move so you know exactly where the signal is coming from) where Serrius' are in motion so the direction changes.

XM doesn't have Howard Stern.

Better sound quality on XM.

It will be a preference thing basically. Look at the stations and channels provided and make your decision. In the USA you can tell where the majority of subscribers choose and that's XM. But... as with most 'main stream' things on here they're the devil..

I have Sirius in my car now. I still love the comedy channel on XM and Opie and Anthony ch. 202. But I am way happier with the music, especially rock on Sirius. Sound Q of music is more to my liking. Plus you can get a lifetime subscription for your receiver. I couldn't live without sat radio, either would suffice.
