Small Sub, Small Amp.

I don't want to occupy the room of a 10" sub in the back of my car and have a amp there and everything.
I have a 1999 honda civic si.
I was wondering if there is such a thing as a mini sub that doesn't really need a amp or would only need a small amp?

Going on a vacation soon.. have tons of luggage. but would enjoy a sub.

It will probably do the job you're looking for, or you could buy a real 8" sub and put it in a proper box with a 2ch amp bridged@4.

Whats the budget?

A friend of mine had one, i actually think that his was a 6". It was actually impressive but you wont get those really low frequency notes. If you are looking for bass just to fill out your sound then its very good, but if you are looking for that BOOM that shakes stuff then it might disappoint you.

use a shallow mount sub. your only gonna use about 4inch of space in the trunk when mounted flush at the back seat

I too would look at a shallow mount sub and then have one of the local shops or qualified people from the site build a box for you that suits the mounting location in the vehicle and the choice of sub. A shallow mount 10" is all you need with a respectable 2 channel amp bridged to power it.

I was gonna say buy some bass shakers, I think they're made by Aura, and just attach them to the bottom of your seats. I think they just vibrate when lower frequencies are played, making you think you have bass...a lot like guys in a Tim Hortons parking lot.

I'm so lost =)
I don't know what to buy.
I'ma hate to buy a amp kit and a amp and subs and a box etc etc and hook all that up.
Did it before a few times and tired of it.
Thats why I wanted to lean towards bazooka because its a all in one..
Unless someone wants to hook me up with a bundle for a couple hundred and install it for me?
lol prob not eh.
