Are you serious that you don't notice the weight difference?
I drive a '97 Tercel, and I notice a weight difference between an empty tank and a full tank!

5 speed or automatic? My wife has an automatic exactly like mine (95 Tercel) and she doesnt get nearly as much out of a tank as i do. Hers is also extremely gutless in comparison. Only thing i have changed on mine is a cold air intake. Doesnt make much difference, if any, so i dont think that is the reason i am not noticing the weight difference. I can admit that when i take a corner it is more noticeable with the extra weight in the back, but other than the cornering i couldnt tell the difference. I think if i had some wider tires on it, it wouldnt be quite so noticeable.

5 spd. Shifting gears is when I notice the weight of the tank most. I spend as little time on my clutch as possible, and try and keep my revs as low as possible. When I drive into the gas station verse when I drive out, I can feel that I have to bring my rpms up just a touch higher, or pull out the clutch a fraction of a second slower. It's not much, but in the 9 years I've had the car, I've gotten to know it well, and I can feel the weight of a tank of gas in my clutching when starting in 1st, and slightly between 1st and 2nd. After that there is no difference.

found with the alpine type x and a bassworx box that I had a harder time starting on first than usual.. and I noticed the power difference.

LOL i actually pulled the 10s out today cause i just had to test it. I DID notice a bit of a difference in 1st gear. It isnt all that noticeable, but enough to know that there isnt a sub in the trunk. I might have also been just LOOKING for a difference too much. hehe
As gutless as they are, i still love these cars....although not so great for SPL.

Did it before a few times and tired of it.
Thats why I wanted to lean towards bazooka because its a all in one..
Unless someone wants to hook me up with a bundle for a couple hundred and install it for me?
lol prob not eh.
I'm pretty sure I can do this out of my garage.....PM me with an idea of how much space you have to work with and we'll get you hooked up with something better than a Bazooka tube.......

I say get creative with the space and see what you can come up with, probably more work than you're up for though
