I have a cheapo Rad Shack 15w that I used to do lots of mod chip's with, don't really use it any more. Can't stand the cord. The $50 butane Weller iron has been treating me pretty good, I was lying on the floor soldering neon cable.

Snap On Butane, I belive it is up to 150 watts on it.

Very handy and a lifetime warranty.

I mainly use a gun, for the same reason as Dukk. I want uber heat, yesterday. I HATE waiting for a gun to heat up.

I have a 45 watt RadioShack, 25 watt MasterCraft and 15 watt radioshack.

I find myself using the 45 watt RS one the most, lots of heat, and less chance of melting the contacts of sensitive work trying ot heat up and object

I have all 12volt irons, great for working on cars ont in the bay, connects directly to the batt under the hood.

I'll have to look at the wattage but it get nice and hot, and if you want it crazy hot then just start the car or hook it to 16 volt (-:
